You know sometimes I don't know how to tell you all the things I feel about you. You know, some times you make me feel like I'm on top of the world. Then in one fail swoop, you can rage a fire in me that no matter how I try to hide it everybody can see it except you. I mean total strangers. But not you! The one who claims to love me. You are blind to it. But when the trees in the forest need to be taken down. I'm all you can see. Now you are ready to Tango, and you won't stop with the hints until your needs are met. You will say Don't you want something sweet? I do. Or how there is too much wood in the house. Or what do you suppose you do with all this hard wear?. Or When was the last time we spent time together Which is another hint for Tango Time?
It's just so funny. Because if I say that I have things to do. Your quick response is Don't worry about that stuff you can do it later. Never mind what I may have to do later. Because every day I Do have something to do.
Like maybe I might want to sit down on my butt and wait for somebody to say honey your dinner is on the table. I might want to have a glass of wine instead of a cup of iced tea, It would even be nice to have a clean kitchen or maybe the dishes cleaned instead of the half-ass job you do, so I have to wash them over again so they may be clean. I know you don't want to wash them either. But hell do I look like I want to cook and wash dishes? Nooo. But I do because I like clean dishes.
As often as I wash laundry. Tell me why I must go on some type of scavenger hunt. To look for what may be dirty in the closet or in your draws or under your side of the bed. Because you can't seem to put your dirty clothes in the hamper. But after I wash, dry and fold the laundry. When I'm putting them all away. Why " for the love of cheesecake" Do I find some more dirty clothes. I will tell you why. Because you don't know how to put YOUR DIRTY clothes where they belong.ðŸ˜
OK. so you leave in the morning for work and for some reason or another you must call and text me at least 5 times a day. You always say you are just checking to see how my day is going. But before you get off the phone. On your way home can you stop and pick up this and that. Or I need you to go by the bank. I need you to make a few calls. Oh yeah, can you please pick up my dry cleaning and get my vitamins for the GNC store.
I also play like I am a bus driver the way I drive the kids back and forth and don't leave out taking the dog to the groomer and replacing the goldfish that our son insists on feeding PB&J sandwiches or hot dogs to. Clearly, I have something to do every day.
But like the alarm that goes off every morning, Although I may be dog tired. You will ask me to perform another service for you so that you can have a good night's sleep. Did you remember to take out the trash this morning, let the dog out, hang up your towel after your shower, load the dishwasher, look over the kid's homework? Answer NO NO NO NO and NO! But If I mention any of this you get angry and say" why must you always find shit to fuss about".
Reply Because I always have shit to do and the list never ends with you, I don't owe you anything its an act of kindness. All that I do is out of love. And with all that I do you can't remember to say Thank you and I Love You.
