Do you remember when we first got together? You said how beautiful I was and how you admired my strength. You told me that with a woman like me in your life that there was nothing that we could not do together . Do you remember how we made love as if that was all we needed to live. We spoke of future plans and our like together. You as My Candy bar and I as Your Cupcake. Wow, what plans we had.
Our Love was so fresh and new. We did such kind things for each other. We even thought that our Lil quirts where funny.We laughed at our corny jokes. We use to make running jokes about how we didn't want to be like some other people we see . You remember the ones that seem to be soooo unhappy They never seem to smile at each other . As if they lost what made them happy. Do you remember that?
As I look back over the years we are not abusive to each other. We don't argue or fight. We rarely dis agree on things. But we do seem to have become emotionally disconnected.I'm starting to feel like a possession instead of your life partner. So can we try to start a new lets do a inventory of our relationship before it's too late and then we no longer like each other.
Instead of minimizing our differences let us maximize them. Instead of denying that you are better at this and I am better at that. Let us take full advantage of our special skills and recognize the weaknesses in order either to work on them. Or to turn to what we do best. I love you. I won't go through what each of us are good at . Nor will I say how bad we do things that don't come naturally to us.
I show you how much I love you , You tell me that you love me. I could not do well what you do so well. Nor could you do what I do. I like me as I am and you as you are. Can we please come to a better understanding of each other. And get back to the loving people I know we are.
